The DGM will be responsible for both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and culinary excellence. This role requires a strong leader with comprehensive F&B experience, ideally from a luxury hotel background.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of both the tea house and the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and culinary standards.
Manage and lead a team of over 30 staff members, including service personnel, beverage staff, and kitchen staff.
Develop and implement service protocols and operational procedures to enhance guest experience.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in collaboration with the culinary team.
Coordinate with external partners, including renowned chefs and service providers, ensuring seamless collaboration.
Handle guest feedback and complaints, providing effective and timely resolutions.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and inventory control.
Develop training programs for staff to maintain and elevate service standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Director of F&B or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, service protocols, and culinary standards.
Ability to manage relationships with high-profile partners and guests.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and cost controls.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex relationships.
Preferred Background:
Experience working in Michelin-starred establishments or with renowned chefs is highly desirable.
Strong presence and ability to command respect from a highly skilled team.
Experience in a private club or exclusive dining environment is an advantage.
