A premier sports and leisure facility in Conghua is seeking a Senior Manager – Engineering & Facilities to oversee the maintenance and operations of its Grandstand complex, which functions similarly to a high-end hotel. This role requires an experienced leader with a hotel engineering and facility operations background, capable of managing technical teams, ensuring optimal building performance, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Operations & Maintenance: Lead the hard services team to ensure the smooth operation of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of two direct reports and external contractors, ensuring service efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.

  • Event Support: Oversee venue setup and maintenance for large-scale events, ensuring all systems (lighting, sound, turnstiles, etc.) are operational.

  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Implement a structured maintenance program to maximize asset lifespan and minimize downtime.

  • Emergency & Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Mainland China’s safety and regulatory standards, developing emergency response plans.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to optimize facility management strategies.

  • Technology Integration: Utilize asset management systems (e.g., Maximo) to enhance operational tracking and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, facilities, or property management, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

  • Background in hotel engineering or large-scale venue operations (e.g., malls, stadiums, hospitality).

  • Strong expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

  • Fluent in English & Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.

  • Leadership experience managing technical teams and contractors.

  • Experience with compliance and safety regulations in China.

  • Proficiency in facility management software (e.g., Maximo) and project planning tools.
